Dr. Angelina Lim is a senior lecturer and deputy course director at the Faculty of Pharmacy and Pharmaceutical Sciences, Monash University. Angelina is a practising pharmacist, educator and researcher, currently holding an adjunct position at Murdoch Children’s Research Institute (MCRI) working on projects in disability and paediatric endocrinology. Angelina is passionate about pharmacy education and curriculum design, as well as antimicrobial stewardship and planetary health. She hopes to prepare graduates better to advocate for better sustainability practices.

Menna Zayed is a clinical pharmacist, public health professional, and planetary health advocate dedicated to advancing climate justice, health equity, and sustainable healthcare systems. Her work lies at the intersection of health and the environment, with a strong focus on addressing systemic inequities and strengthening climate-resilient health systems.
With experience spanning research, policy, advocacy, and community engagement, Menna has contributed to global health and sustainability initiatives through collaborations with organizations such as the International Pharmaceutical Federation (FIP), the World Health Organization, and Women in Global Health. She actively engages in global climate and health policy spaces, including participation in the United Nations Climate Change Conferences (COP27, COP28, and COP29), where she advocates for the integration of health into climate action and elevates the role of healthcare professionals in driving sustainability.
Menna currently leads community-based environmental and public health projects in Egypt, working closely with communities to co-design and implement solutions that address the health impacts of climate change and waste pollution. Her work bridges local realities with global advocacy, ensuring that community voices are heard in decision-making processes. Menna is committed to building a just and sustainable future where health systems are both inclusive and environmentally responsive.

After graduating with a Bachelor of Pharmacy from the University of Queensland, Brisbane, Australia, Judith worked in both public and private hospitals and managed community pharmacies in metropolitan and rural Queensland as well as the UK. She also owned two community pharmacies in Queensland. In 2009 Judith commenced working for Medication Services Queensland, Queensland Health, as a Senior Project Officer in New Models of Pharmacy Practice and was a recipient of a Queensland Health award for her research and work in this area. From 2007 to 2014 Judith was a lecturer in the School of Pharmacy, University of Queensland teaching in both undergraduate and postgraduate courses.

Minna is a hospital pharmacist in Acute Medicine and works part time with the ambulance service as an urgent care pharmacist in the North East of England. She completed an MSc in Environment and Human Health in 2022 and became the Chief Sustainability Officer’s Clinical Fellow 2023/24 with NHS England, hosted by South East London Integrated Care Board. Minna is currently the Chair of Sustainability at the Guild of Healthcare Pharmacists and the project consultant for the Royal Pharmaceutical Society’s Greener Pharmacy Guides. Minna and her colleagues in the UK co-founded Pharmacy Declares, a group of environmentally conscious pharmacy professionals calling for divestments, climate-health education and leadership in the pharmacy profession. She has published in several peer reviewed journals on the subject of sustainable healthcare in relation to pharmacy practice and pharmaceuticals. She has also contributed to the FIP statement of policy on environmental sustainability within pharmacy, published in 2023.

Before joining the team of Mr Wienands in March 2024, Amelie studied clothing technology and worked in the fashion industry for several years. She then changed career direction and decided to take a more meaningful path.
Switching to AOK Baden-Württemberg was a significant step for Amelie; she isnow involved in an industry that puts people's well-being at the centre. In her current position, she focuses on the sustainable design of tenders, among other things.
Working in the field of pharmaceutical supply gives Amelie the opportunity to actively contribute to shaping a better future and promoting sustainability in the healthcare sector.
